Landscape Architecture
Fall 2023
Contour Garden
This project, the first in our undergraduate architecture studies at the University of Arizona, focused on learning the basics of concept development and translating ideas into physical designs. We explored collages, plan and section drawings, and model building to bring our concepts to life. Located on an old basketball court, the project aimed to transform the space into a functional garden with paths, gathering areas, and bodies of water. My design prioritized easy movement through the garden, connecting four points to ensure people could pass through without avoiding the space, while gathering areas offered both refuge and prospect of the surrounding environment.
