Elevated Eco-Space

The Elevated Eco-Space is a outdoor wellness oasis for the community of San Luis, Colorado. The nearest acequia bordering the eastern side of the site provides direct connection to the channels carved out of contour slopes that guide water through a primary retention pond, down to the southern waterscape and out west towards the natural slope of the area. The site is highlighted by a raised boardwalk connecting 6 community spaces to each other that is entered from the northern ground level to provide accessibility options for everyone. The key moments of this area being the elevated track on the eastern side and a children’s designated play area in the northwest corner promote health and wellness as well as environmental interaction for the community of San Luis.
